Bose replacement
My Bose system is totally shot. All but one speaker is dead and at times that does not work. I would like a CD player and do not care about a super sound system. I just want four speakers two in doors and two up on dash. I do not want to spend big money and would like something that fits in the dash and if possible has a harness that plugs into the original wiring system. Does such a system exist and if so can anyone give me some suggestions. This is and 84.

When I bought my 91 it had a Sony already. I was going to replace it with a Pioneer I have sitting around and found that the Pioneer did not have the connection for the antenna to raise/lower.
I tried the Sony (cdx-gt400) outside the car to check the speakers. All worked so I figured my problem was with the original Bose speakers. So off to Best buy for new speakers. Ran new wires and mounted the speakers and now it delivers sound that is OK for my 68 y/o ears.
