I usually turn it 3 or 4 times when I'm out driving. When I'm on the street I put it on tour. And Once I get up to an onramp or a turn I switch it to Performance then back to tour.
Is this bad for the suspension? should I just leave it on one setting and keep it there?
Re: How often do you turn the FX3 switch? (tuajer)
I change mine around when on the street based on the road condition. I don't think it hurts to move the switch anytime but I try to not change it when turning with one side of the car under a cornering load.

Everyday, I leave it on Sport most of the time. But when I feel frisky I set it to performance. Then the occasional ride to the Tampa side gets it set to touring.

Does anyone really notice any difference in any of the modes?
There a few aftermarketers like Rippie and Exotic Muscle that sell chips for the controller that supposedly does improve the different modes. Anyone ever use them?

In most everyday, easy to moderate driving, obviously you're not going to notice much difference in the different suspension settings, but start using your vette aggressively and you'll see the difference very clearly - when I first bought my 90 ZR-1, I loved the cornering ability, and mistakingly left the switch on touring while taking a 30 mph ramp at 70 mph and the car handled the turn, while scrubbing the innner fender well of the outside (driver's in this case) front tire, and rolling toward the apex noticeably. I later took the same ramp at 80 mph in performance with no roll, drama or scrubbing - the difference is subtle until pushing the limits, where you want the most noticeable handling advantage. The corvette engineers who designed these cars know their s***.
Now let's all drive our vettes like we stole 'em (occasionally at least).

I turn my to perf whenever I'm tracking the car or autoxing. I usually ride around in sport unless the road is really bumpy or over the hundreds of expansion joints on I-5 in Seattle. I had my Bilsteins revalved at Bilstein San Diego and the difference is obvious on each setting. :yesnod:

I usually have it on sport, I go to tour when the roads get bumpy. Sometimes I will set it to performance, but on Michigan roads the ride gets pretty bumpy.
I notice a huge difference in the three modes. In performance the car is much bouncier over bumps, in tour it really sofens the ride.
