Default Clear coat

Hello everyone..I have a 1995 corvette. my question today is..how hard would it be to address some clear coat issues that are on my back section near the fuel door? It had been left in the sunshine down in Florida for 4 mths and had spots where the clear coat bubbled up and now looks sick. is this something that could be done from reading about it or does it need to be left to the professionals?
Thanks
Chris

Clear coat is not repairable. Once the clearcoat goes the base color below starts to fade very quickly. So, trying to scuff and repaint the clear coat just makes a bigger mess. unfortunately the only cure is a repaint base and clear. If your lucky and the rest of the paint is good you may get away with spotting and blending that panel.

Yup you need to get that panel repainted unfortunately. Is it the original paint?

tyvm. not looking to cheap out for sure just wasnt sure if it would need a complete paint job. the paint on the rest of the vette is pretty nice just from the blistering son for four mths it had a few bubble spots that app.
thanks

i was told it had 1 repaint about 6 years ago. and the whole front clip has had 4 repaints due to the florida love bugs and excessive florida heat. the clear coat thats bad is on the top side of the rear panel which would be the flat surface above the tail lights.
thanks chris
