Thanks, Mark.. I think it'll turn out alright.

The epoxy repair is already stronger than the other fender. That's really good stuff.

And I wish I was doing videos, rather than gluing half the car back together.. OMZ.. DID NOT expect to find this much screwed up when I started sanding.

i painted a 67 Fairlane GT for a buddy...he said that he "was told" the body is solid so all i needed to do was straighten the surface (sand) and shoot color...it turned into a 4 month project with bondo everywhere so yeah..it happens but thats ok because you're doing it proper and like a good weld,,,it will be stronger than the material around it.

Replaced the passenger side cat on my 95. Not a horrible job, the worst part was just getting the old one off. The stuffing in the cat had broken and was rattling around. When i first heard it I thought it was a rod knock, scared me. The new one went in a bunch quicker, it was actually a little shorter then the oem one. Also took the opportunity to power wash the 22 years of junk from the inside of the X brace.

Default Repaired climate control

I finally got around to repairing the climate control issues that seem to be standard for Corvettes of my car's age (1990). I followed the instructions provided by Ozzstar on YouTube and the entire process took less then 90 minutes, including taking it apart the second time and fixing what I messed up the first time. Taking the center console apart and getting the climate control unit out was easy, so was getting the control unit apart. I then used a pencil eraser and some rubbing alcohol to clean the contacts and put everything back together. The first time I started it up the temperature for the heater went straight to 90, was blowing on my feet and I couldn't change anything. I guessed, and I was correct, that I had put the rubber gasket in backwards when i put the unit together after cleaning it. I took everything back out, fixed the gasket, tested it by plugging in the climate control without putting the rest of the dash in and everything worked perfect. I buttoned everything up and so far works like a charm. The next task I want to tackle is the non-functioning tachometer, will do that in a couple weeks after my next business trip. Thanks Ozzstar for the video!!

Got Corsa cat back exhaust installed on my 96 CE. It finally sounds like an 8 cylinder engine, but so much quieter inside the cabin. Perfect.

Default Car Cover question

What brand/model car cover do you have? Have you noticed any damage to the paint? Do you cover daily, or just for long-term storage? I just purchased a 1993 40th edition and am looking for a cover because I do not have a garage. I live in central NC. (Left Pompano Beach, FL about 30 years ago.)

I needed a hobby after moving into my townhome 3 years ago and with the huge price drop of C4/C5's in 2015 i decided it was time to get back into them.
I started a youtube channel for fun a couple months ago and its really been fun (and its a lot of work as well) which prompted me to buy my second current C4 (92 Black Rose Vert)...so yeah i love the C4 and yes I bought them to work on them and daily drive them...like a said, im going into this as a hobby! (plus i smile ear-to-ear every time i drive either one)

GRATZ on the restoration and looking forward to more pics
I follow you on you tube, I got my 95 black 6 speed coupe a month and a half ago. You've been a big help on a few things.

Received my EZ hatch yesterday and opened and installed it today. Really simple. Magnetic extension shaft to control the electric and the clamp for the latch to extend it. Will take the car out in a day or so to see how it works.

Mine (96 coupe) had Corsa on it when I bought it. Probably subconsciously big part of my buying it. Love the sound

Thanks. 'm jealous, though. Dying to drive mine again.

Can't wait to get it put back together.. Arrrrgh..

Me and the Mrs want to take a mini-vacation to the Corvette Museum this year. Wanted to take it. Can't do that if it is in a million little pieces.

Installed two new front tires after ruining one on a broken gutter drain while attending the Black Hills Corvette Classic Rally in Spearfish, SD.

Installed my DIY folding cup holder for the driver's side. Last year I installed my DIY double folding cup holder on the passenger side.https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1585378870

I took my Ruby to Abel Chevrolet to have my A/C converted over to the R134 and learned that my R12 is still fully charged. They tell me that my problem was the Programmer, which of course is a discontinued part, and I would be better off leaving things alone because they have had nothing but trouble with the remanufactured programmers.

I guess I'll have to leave my Ruby at home on the triple digit hot days and take one of my other cars.

Are the buttons not working right? You can take it apart, and clean the contact points easily with alcohol.

The Controller is working fine. They told me when the A/C air comes out of the defroster and lower vents and not the upper vents the Programmer has failed and defaulted.
