I'm currently painting the barrels of my new AFS chromed ZR-1 replica wheels with POR Glisten PC. One more coat to do at midnight and I'm done.

Then I just need to stick the balance weights back on and put the wheels on the car. That will happen Monday when the POR is fully cured.

I drove her to work the last two days with the top down.

Unseasonably warm in Oregon.

I drive her in the rain but I prefer the top down and the sun shining.

Opened the garage door and looked at it.What exactly is a ZR-1 spoiler and how is this different from a regular spoiler?

When I get home tonight, I'm throwing on my new staggered set of AFS rims and new rubber.

Maybe he means a Z51 wasn't it longer than the standard?

Hmm I could be wrong. I'm going off of what the seller told me when I bought it. It is about an inch longer than the standard one. It scrapes everywhere!

Replaced valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, and flushed all the brake lines. Still need to find a vacuum leak. I think it's under the plenum.

Seller did not know what he was talking about the ZR-1 front spoiler is the same as any C4. Sometimes when they associate ZR-1 with any C4 they think its worth more Do some research as I do believe the Z51 option did have a longer spoiler as part of the option.

Great looking Car

Had my tire shop mount our new 19" CCW SP551's and Nitto NT-05's.
I'll put them on the car today or in the morning.

Found a vacuum leak that was causing a rough idle and code 34. Smooth sailing until the damn low coolant light came on.

I have to repair the garage door so I can get the vette out in the driveway to wash it. That's what I am going to be doing today

Spoiler (i.e, "wing") or do ya mean the air dam?

The air dam on the Zs is slightly wider - a full 4" at the "wings", whereas the standard is 3.5(?)" or there 'bouts.

Paul,

I just went down and checked all of mine 91-93-(95 LT1) they are 2 3/4 at the corners. I had just replaced the 91's but still have the originals and they measure the same.
