Polished the fog/driving lights. I have the bumpers off , so I figured I might as well clean these up now instead of after the bumpers are back on.

I replaced the thermostat on my 85. Just got the car and trying to diagnose an overheating problem. This is the first thing I've done to the car, other than the oil change immediately after picking it up.

worked on replacing my rear hub and bearing. Got stuck on removing the last torx bolt right above the driveshaft. Tried for about an hour and gave up will try again today or tmrw.

Try a u-joint or a wobble extension on your socket wrench, you will need to experiment with some different lengths. And a short piece of fuel line hose will help you get the new plug started.

I took out my brake booster to mount the factory ecm.bracket and discovered my master cylinder is bad . I pulled out the vacuum lines that go to the cruise control . BTW is a 4+3 trans clutch slave cylinder different from the zf 6 speed ? The bracket I have hits it.😖

From the pics in my '88 & '89 ECMs the clutch MCs look very similar; not sure if in exactly same firewall location though.
Made some progress on touching up copla large (dime-quarter) clam corner paint chips. Little more color and time for the clear.

Repaired my blank LCD panel on my 91. Removed guage pod, reseated the LCD connector a few times. Rebuilt and now all working fine
It had faded out a number of times over the years but usually came back on after a few miles. Went totally blank so had to investigate. Glad it seems to be a zero cost fix
