Hard Shift
My new to me 95 with auto transmission seems to have a hard shift from 1st to second when in drive. 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to fourth don't seem to shift as hard. It doesn't really clunk but you can feel it. It also seem to shift from 1st to 2nd pretty quick. Other than the hard shift everything seems normal. Temps are fine. Fluid is clean and full. Does this sound normal?

Any idea if PO did any performance upgrades? I had my 87 auto rebuilt and beefed up to ensure i didn't blow it with my engine rebuild. It shifts really hard now but it is supposed too.
Have you checked your tranny fluid via dipstick? If so, how was the color? Red or burnt orange/brownish?

Thanks Cliff. I looked all over the FSM and couldn't find anything about a TV cable.
I don't know if anything has been modified. The person I bought it from said it always shifted like that for him but he was the 3rd owner.
