Hi, I own a 1984 Corvette. Im about to get tags on it here in Norway, imported from L.A. The tire placard sticker in the door is missing, what I`ve heard Production date was on it.
Is it possible to find out actual Production date for my 84 C4?

This is the vin#1G1AY0785E5121361
OP is looking for just your last 5 digits of the VIN and the month/year on certification label to potentially confirm a production for his car.
Here's a start for you from an eBay "for sale": 28808 01/84
It appears he needs builds late in '83 probably late October.
Thanks, got Norwegian plates on today👍 So Ive been driving around in the C4 today😊
That's good that it went well for you. I can't read the last five digits of the last label that was posted but he's around frequently and maybe that will put you in a position to know month/year anywat.
Have you found any tire crayon/chalk markings like I mentioned in your other thread on any of the components? You could do this also and I overlooked it but if the windshield is original and the door glass they will be date coded and I've got the codes for them. Put a piece of paper behind them and take a snapshot. Lower right on the windshield and rear of glass above door handle on the side glass. The information will be 4 - 5 lines long, easy snapshot with a backer.
