Door question.
I have a friend who recently sold his Corvette. I would have bought it had I known he was selling it, especially since it was a 91 and he sold it for the same price that I just bought my 86 for.
Anyway, he came in at my part time job tonight. We were talking about window regulators and I told him how I just changed the ribbon in my driver's door. He said he has a couple Corvette doors on Craigslist that have the new style regulators in them. He said I could have them for $100.00. I jumped on the deal of course so he went home and grabbed them and brought them to me. I got both complete doors with good regulators.
My question is...Are the doors interchangeable between an 86 and 91?

The door side moulding stips are different.
The 86 has a narrow black recessed moulding and the 91 has a wider body colored side moulding.
Also, the interior door panels will have different mounting holes.
