Argh! Tremec TKO 600 backordered?

Argh! Tremec TKO 600 backordered?
About a month ago I decided that I wanted to update my failing Doug Nash 4+3 in my '84 with a Tremec. The problem is there are not that many places you can go to to buy a TKO600. Keisler filed for bankruptcy, American Powertrain does not offer a kit for the C4. A couple of other places never responded to my desire to purchase their kit. There's a guy on ebay and there is Hurst Drivelines.
I decided to go with Hurst Drivelines because they have the most complete kit for the C4. I knew I would have to wait, but after calling several times asking for a timeline, each time I was told it will ship a week later. Today, after waiting nearly a month, I am being told that the transmission is backordered and it will probably be another month.
Sorry rant over, but seriously this is frustrating.
