Very Tempting
Went to the dealer the other day and checked out a C7. It really is a beautiful car. They had a Lime Rock Green Z51 in the showroom and I was very tempted to make an offer. The down side was it had black interior and that green should have saddle brown insides. I think I’ll drive my 96’ this summer and then trade it in on a 2015 this fall. The tripping point for me was the introduction of the 8 speed automatic.
I've owned corvettes for thirty five years now and when they introduced the C5 series I just couldn't get onboard. Waited for the C6 series and still it just didn't click with me. This C7 is a whole new ballgame. I know I'm going to miss my 96'. We've been together for so many years and it has never let me down. Everything on the car still works like brand new and I'm hoping that this next one is built just as strong and carries me through to the end of my road. This most likely will be my last corvette purchase so I'd like to go out with a happy ending. But first, I'm going to spend one last summer enjoying my old friend.
