Default Hello from Orlando, FL!

Hey all, looking to get into a C4 as a DD within the next couple of weeks.

Just got back from a years worth of work overseas after having to depart a bit early due to Work Visa complications. Looking to spend around 5 - 7k on a C4. Originally planned on getting an LS1 Trans Am but came just short of the funds since I had to return to The States unexpectedly.

Anyways after doing some research I've decided on a Corvette. I had no idea the C4's had become this affordable, and from what I've read most people say go ahead and enjoy them while you still can. I've heard they still make suffiencent daily drivers. I don't mind getting my hands dirty under the hood from time to time to save some money. I find working on cars very therepudic although I wouldn't call myself a mechanic. (So expect me to be on here often enough for troubleshooting)

All in all I am very excited to join the family and look forward to getting to know y'all. Anyone have a good reason why an American V8 loving, 25 year old young man shouldn't be buying a C4?

Default Welcome

I'm currently in the same boat as you and I personally found great feedback posting a WTB in the c4 by/sell thread.
