94 clutch replacement
I own c1 and c2 vetts . But a freind of mine needs a new clutch on her 94 a few of us from our club will do the job. Any tips to look out for. What does it involve.

About a 5-6 hour job for a mechanic. My '92 is in the shop for a new clutch right now. I had to pay $1000 for a replacement dual-mass flywheel, as no one is making them currently and they are hard to find. You can use a single-mass flywheel, but it supposedly makes the transmission very noisy.
Also you might want to have the original clutch hydraulics replaced while you are at it, as they are known to leak/fail. It was about $350 to replace both cylinders.
