Default Help me decide

Normally I just do what ever I want and don't really care what people think of my mods...HOWEVER... this time around I'm having a hard time deciding and which wheel.

Front ZR1 replica (silver) 17"
Back Reproduction C6 18"

I am going to have to use a 1 inch spacer on the Passenger Rear tire and a 1.5 inch spacer on the driver side Rear tire.

Anyways...thoughts?

C6 wheels just don't seem to do anything for me on a C4 especially an early car with the black side molding. Now since I believe it's a fresh paint which looks very good I'd maybe consider doing the wheels "to match" the body color. That would be the finishing touch for me.

I'd like to say black and maybe I'd have to think hard about the black but it would for sure be "body color" or black and ZR-1 replica. I like the replicas done with the OE thin machined flange that's about the width of a wheel weight. No wide polished flanges or wider than the weight width.

The paint on the car looks very good!

That's the car after the swap back to the front leaf? If yes looks great!

No offense but use some imagination on wheel selection. Way too many C4's have ZR-1 replica wheels.

I think the c6 wheel spokes are just too thin for c4's. It makes them look like a matchbox car. But that is just my opinion. I also think the gray wheels look much better on your car than chrome.

With that said, they look better than the C6 rims. I had those same rims(ZR1) on my previous '93.

another vote for the zr1 wheels. some wheels just look right on a particular body style and color combo.

I like the painted wheels with the silver paint more than the bright wheels.

Even though I replaced my chrome ZR1 wheels a few years ago because I was tired of seeing them on C4's and also the same type of wheel on SS Camaros , I would have to go with the ZR1 wheels.......I know MANY others here disagree, but I just do not like anything over 17" on a C4......the C5/6/7 have the body contours for the larger wheel, but not the C4 IMHO....too much wheel, not enough side wall....looks like an urban type thing to me and I am too old for that look I guess......

This is exactly why I've been having a problem deciding. In a way I kinda like the chrome for some "bling"... but I'm thinking the 18" may actually be a little big looking in a sense.
