Default stop leak additives

Anybody use any of a variety of leak stop products or other fluid conditioners/enhancers? Local quick change establishment recommends Lucas products. Yeah or nay.

...if maintained correctly...shouldn't need additives or leak anywhere....fix everything permanently....then you can drive it like you stole it...

I've used additives in many vehicles, sometime they work miracles, sometimes they don't. No Leak has worked for me in a couple power steering pumps, and ATP has cured a timing cover seal.

For something so minor, it would be foolish to try these. I have seen guys facing teardowns try them. Sometimes they work.
