Option one: Repair the existing cap - and move on.
Option two: Replace the cap. You might get lucky and find one the will "Platicgauge" OK. But if you can't find a suitable cap, you're looking at line boring and all that goes with it. If you're going to do that, then rings and bearings and maybe a valve job "while you're 'in there' " may be in order. The good news is your motor odometer gets reset to zero miles.

1. Plasti-gage it to verify gap
2. Disconnect the belt and remove the plugs. Measure TQ to spin engine. If greater than specs you have a problem. If within... drive on.
No it won't be perfect.. but there is such a thing as good enough.
