Like every one else here, I like to perform my own repairs on my Corvette as well as my other cars and machinery. My latest project on the Corvette was the clutch master and slave cylinder on the 94 six speed. As long as the projects are not too in depth, and I can get them accomplished without totally disabling something in my garage, I will usually tackle them myself. Because of the level I stay at, my own tool box is relatively small, but I still have enough at my disposal to accomplish some pretty good projects. Keep in mind that I do not nor do I ever want to rebuild major components like transmissions, engines, etc. So, without getting this moved to another section - which it could because of the content - let's see what everyone works out of to keep your Corvette's on the road. I searched the general discussion forum and was surprised to not find anything on this topic.
Just realized I don't have a photo of the ratchet and socket drawer, so this will have to do. Still have room to expand and next on the list is a torque wrench. Getting by for now.
A man can never have enough tools. Do your homework before you buy a clicker type torgue wrench. I read several stories, in reviews, about people twisting off bolts and studs before the wrench clicked. I bought a beam type for my use. Old school, but reliable.
Can't share any pics at this time of night but rest assured I am a certified tool junkie. I have been slowly amassing tools over the last 12 years. I have purchased new tools, used tools at yard/garage sales and the flea markets and even got some for free or as barter for work done. I try to do all the car/pickup/motorcycle/home plumbing, electrical, carpentry/rental property/etc. maintenance and upgrades that I can. Every time I think I have all that I need I find I need another tool for a project or the manufacturers come up with a new fastener to mess with me. Fortunately my wife is wonderful about it. She tells me if it will help get the job done faster then buy the tool. I will try to post some pics later.
P.S. - I don't see why the mods would move this as tools have as much to do with corvettes as anything else.
I have just changed my Avatar to show the tool box I built myself. It was a first build to try and find if it would suite me. Two things, I am now building another like it but with a bit bigger doors and alot fancier wood (1/4 sawn oak). I now find myself thinking of building one a bunch wider as this one is now to small. That's a cherry picker in front of it. The chest is almost 6 foot tall. counting top and bottom.

I have a pretty good size 3 piece tool chest and lots of tools. Funny thing is, a few years ago my Wife bought me a 'Met Wrench' set for Christmas. It's made where one wrench or socket fits either metric or English bolts.I haven't found anything it won't work on. I use that little set for almost everything. I've built 2 Mustangs, a Capri for my Son and Three Panteras out of that one little tool kit! I still use bigger ratchets, extensions and torque wrenches out of my big Craftsman chest, but the little Met Wrench set is the most useful set of tools I own. When I travel, MetWrench goes with me!
Cessnaguy, my setup looks just like yours except I have a tool chest on top of the short roll-away. I also have three torque wrenches, various oversized sockets, no compressor and no multimeter -- I'm not too good with electrical stuff, plus my vehicles arrive in good shape and have fortunately stayed in good shape with electricals.
I have the 1995 Corvette, a 2006 Tacoma, and 3 dirt bikes (1984, 1999 & 2003 models) and do 99% of my own maintenance and tune-ups on all of these machines. And like you, I won't open up major components like engines or transmissions, I leave that stuff to the pros!
Currently with my project, my garage floor is my toolbox. But I need to start putting tools away. I'm starting to run around in circles trying to find them. Lol
