Carpet padding
I was changing my driver's side carpet and found the padding under the carpet was shredded. Should I replace the padding with similar material or should I do something more waterproof or denser?
Where are you guys getting replacements from? I have a roll of that foam padding that is made of fragments which are glued together. I used some of it under my area rugs in the house. Is that ok to use? It can't be worse at absorbing water than the original.
