Default Excessive heat or normal?

Quick question, I've had my 95 for about 4 weeks or so, wanted to ask two questions related to interior heat off the trans tunnel.

1) Does your car put off excessive heat on the driver's side of the tunnel?

2)For those of you that switched to longtubes and thus moved the cats, did you notice less heat after the switch?

Thanks in advance for any feedback on your experiences...

I have never noticed a lot of heat from the transmission tunnel in my 1992. Of course, I have never driven it more than 900 miles in one day.

I noticed a pretty substantial drop in the temperature of the tunnel when i installed long tubes and no cats (emissions exempt here) on my '86.

The heat going on your legs space is generated by the lack of heat shielding.

You mentioned long tubes, and cats relocation. Did you install heat wrap, or heat shields on the new cats?

You can find those products on summit racing.

If you are referring/responding to me, my exhaust is all stock, but I'm swapping to longtubes in the near future.

1) Does your car put off excessive heat on the driver's side of the tunnel? Yes particularly near your right ankle

2)For those of you that switched to longtubes and thus moved the cats, did you notice less heat after the switch? Yes less but not much less

Thanks in advance for any feedback on your experiences...
always wear socks when going for a long drive in the summer.
