Default VATS By-pass

1996 CE. I tried to put my VATS by-pass pigtail in today and couldn't find the connector to plug it into. I removed the panel under the steering column and just couldn't find it. Does anyone have a quick hint to help an old guy out? Could this small connector be part of a larger one? This should only take 15 minutes and I am already into it over an hour. Thanks.

Usually the two pin harness from the key cylinder is orange in color with two white wires at the base of the steering column.

Thanks. That was exactly the answer I needed. I looked and looked and did not see that the orange wire was really a cover over 2 white wires. It took 2 minutes to disconnect the plug and install the by-pass pigtail. Then about a half hour to reinstall the cover under the dash. Now I am on to replacing the gear in one of my headlights. Thanks again.
