Default Wierd Bose Issue

Ok for 2 years I nave had problems with my Pioneer/Kenwood radio cutting out on me for a short period of time and then come back on annoying and embarrassing. When it would cut out my volt meter would come on it would read about 16.7 volts them the radio would pop in volts back to normal. Ok thought it was the relay, bought one thru Zip Corvette and another thru Ebay original GM part same thing. Winter was coming so I lived with it until my Pioneer quite working. No 12v out to relay or antenna and no radio thru amps. I put in a new Kenwood bluethooth,HD FM the whole hooked it up played ok 10 minutes same thing. Im really pissed by now. This year i unhooked all the Bose amps and put in a 4 channel Kenwood amp.all new speakers and wire. Drove the thing ten minutes volt meter comes on 16.7 v radio cuts out. Damn thing, so next i figured alternator bad because voltage reg is in alt. I unplugged the plug off the alt put it back on drove the vette works great for about a month back to same thing unplugged it again worling great. I just thought I would post this in case it helps someone in the future. Check the plug before rewiring your whole car for nothing! Lessoon Learned
