Today i finally replace my wiper motor on my car. All work but sometime i must "play" with the switch to activate windshield washer. Often if i push them completely it did not work, when i just release them a little bite it work.
Hi my switch does that sometimes I clean the switch with electric contact cleaner and put a coat of dielectric grease whenever I take the door panel off. It seems to work perfect but after no use for a long period it starts doing what yours does. I suspect next time I will really clean it good and grease it . What I notice is that when it rains after a while of being on all starts to work perfectly, go figure it is probably dirty contacts in the end.
With the wiper slider switch in the OFF position.
Push the switch downward to the Mist position then release it . It will spring back to the OFF position.
The wiper blades should sweep across the windshield 2 cycles and windshield fluid should spray on the windshield.
If you continue to hold the switch in the downward position the wipers will continue to operate and the windshield washer fluid should continue to spray. Release the switch and it will spring back to OFF.
