I lurk around looking at vettes on craigslist. I found this close by the house and it was wasting away in a yard. He wanted $4700 and I just could not see it. He called back and I got it for $3500 with the original wheels as well as C5 wheels that are on it. Transmission has been redone in last year. Drives out good. Needs paint and interior work. Just LOVE C4 body. I hate to see them rot.

There is nothing wrong with owning four Corvettes.
Many others give the money to their wives, buy golf clubs, donate to charity, eat expensive food (for it to become a dump in 4 hours), gamble, drugs, hookers, but you my friend buy Vettes.
Good for you

In the case of my C4, I got a lot of car for very little money. I never thought I could afford a Corvette, but when I started looking at late model Mustangs and Camaros, I found that the prices of the C4's were not that much more, so I bit on my '94. 70's C3 prices have started to take off on the Mecum Auctions. The C4 series may be the last affordable Corvettes.

If you ever think you need to stop being out of control, but still have the urge to spend money, let me know, you can help me be out of control!
