my 91 coupe was an old drag race car,it has a rack and no pump when i bought it. i had a saginaw pump so i made it work. my only problem is that i have to riv the engine to about 1500 rpms to get it to work. is there a smaller pulley that i can put on the pump to make it work at an idle,or is there a pressure valve that i can adjust on this style of pump. new pumps are just to much$$ thanks

There are various flow-valves available for the Saginaw TC series pump and that would likely fix your problem or at least help it. Do you know what the pump is from?
Corvette pumps have a different pressure relief valve than "regular" passenger cars to provide more "road feel". You can buy just the relief valve and put it in your pump.

Call Borgeson and ask them if you can get a valve to use your pump with a C4 rack and pinion. Have the diameter of your pump pulley available and as much information as you can give them regarding the truck the pump came from. Were it a later TC series pump I believe I could head you in a correct direction but I'll leave your truck pump to Borgeson. Did the truck have hdra-boost or just vacuum power brakes?
