Default LT 4 Badging

I saw an LT4 today that had LT4 Badging on the front side of fender/hood.

Never seen anything like that before.

I was unable to get a picture as he was on the expressway beside me enough to see it but I wasn't quick enough with the camera. It was Black over Black coupe.

I think it was a 95 or 96 model probably.

Does anyone recognize this.

thanks,
tankengine

No LT4s in 95. I'm sure it was just an aftermarket part from one of the catalog companies. May not have been an LT4.

That got to be an awesome looking badge. It could be a special edition LT4.

Nice I love badges they are worth more HP than stickers...To the OP as stated after market only a few badges were offered from the factory on the side of the hood on a C4 If i'm not mistaken they were the 35th, 40th Ruby, 96 CE and 93-95 ZR-1. If I missed any someone will add it.

Definitively a car show piece.

Are you going to put one on each side? How about on the rear bumper to look like the ZR-1 emblem?

Regarding crooked fuely badge, I'm not defending the badge at all. I'm more of a run what ya got kinda person. The reason I originally posted the question was I had never seen a badge like that and was just wondering if it was stock or aftermarket.

But in defense of whomever installed it, the picture I sent It does appear to be crooked however it seems perfectly strait and correctly installed in person. It may be the perspective/lines of the hood/fender etc.

I've not seen an LT4 badge yet. Have seen at least "one" too many ZR-1 badges tho...

When they came out they sold ones that looked like the factory would make. They were basically just like the ZR1 badge but said LT4. Those were nice and subtle and also matched the factory paint.
