Default its getting there... slowly.

Had the car maybe a year. Yanked the leaky tranny, had it rebuilt, re-stuck it. Not knowing the history and what I did know wasn't sure how true it was..did a complete tuneup..plugs, wires, cap rotor, ect. Switched ( I think old wasn't) to syn. oil with good filter. Just replaced fuel relay and fuel pump/screen. Have new injectors and rebuild kit for regulator from FIC which I will install either the next two days or when I am home again. Bought new tires. Bought 2 seats much better than the ones that came in it. Installed a new seat belt. New bulbs under the hood. new hood cables with emergency cables installed. replaced the broken see thru top with a solid top. New battery. jeeze, am I having fun or what?

already spent lots on that thread. I just changed avatar pics to show. One thing tho. I bought Vortec heads, then beehive springs to upgrade and clear high lift cam, then 1.6 roller rockers, then a stinking Eldebrock high flow manifold so as to fit the Vortec heads, then high flow ruunners, mini starter to fit under the headman headers that do NOT fit worth a crap., upgraded the tourque converter when I struck in the tranny..yep, now waiting for end of season to install that engine. The pic is shown with 1965 Vette ,double hump heads and Wieand single plane manifold with some old carb sitting on it. All of that is now sitting on the garage floor getting in the way.
