Today I saw this Vette convertible traveling southbound on Interstate-95, just south of Philadelphia, PA. Poor thing was getting wet in all it's nooks and crannies.... I felt sadness inside but gratitude knowing my Vette was warm and dry inside the garage at home.
I just felt like sharing this picture and wishing nothing but warm, dry and sunny days for your Corvette. lol
LOL good to know I'm not the only one who doesn't want to drive my Corvette in the rain. I drove it on a wet road once (after the storm passed and was gone) and I couldn't believe how easily the rear end steps out.
Rain, snow, bird droppings, dirt, and leaves among other things have landed on mine. It is also gets wet every time I wash it but I don't know any better way to easily clean it. Oh well, I guess I am going to Corvette Hell after I die.
I get it, but there is no right or wrong in driving in the rain. My 2005 has been in rain once and my wife was upset more than I was. I would rather not drive any of my Vettes in rain and so therefore my fear costs me days of enjoyment. My own worst enemy. I am sick.
I think I will go for a ride.....................no wait I see a cloud.
I live in the Valley of the sun in Arizona. When you talk of rain I get lost. What the hell is rain? We haven't seen any for so long we forgot what it is!!!

She'll be fine. You don't make chick magnets that need to be dry all the time.

Except right now.... I'm in Tucson and it's merciless monsoon time. Can deal with the rain, but can't stand right after it rains when the clouds suddenly leave to show all of nature's dirty **** water all over a black body c4 in direct sunlight to just bake all the synthetic chemicals fresh from Phoenix pollution factories right into the paint.
