Hey guys and gals,

Been a couple of months now since I sold my '95 and purchased my 2000 vert. Couple of observations. Of course I miss my 95, a lot of fun to drive, and I put so much effort into the restoration, it was special to me. Got a lot of attention everywhere I went. The 2000, very smooth power, fun to drive with the 6 speed, but you don't feel the road in the C5 the way you do in a C4. Both have their pro's and con's. But I will have to say that after tasting the power of the LS1, to go back to a C4 I think I would have to find me a ZR1. The C5's are way more electronic than the C4's, and with that comes way more difficulties in trouble shooting and maintenance. 3 book factory service manual instead of 2 for the C4, that alone should tell you something.
Pulled up next to an '88 last night, I was in my truck, and the guy had really hopped up his C4, sounded real good. Took me back. Any generation Vette in my opinion is a great car to own.

Going from the C4 forum to the C5 forum was seamless. Great group over there. Many former C4 owners, no bashing that I have seen, no reason to.

My former 95

My 2000

The C4's are awesome and I will probably be back in one some day, maybe move up to a C6 first, they are pretty awesome as well.

My 94 Vette 6-speed with LT4 heads and the "hot cam" will leave a LS1 Camaro 6-speed. My LS1 camaro was strong smooth power, but not as mean as my 94, which is a lil rowdy, and tons of fun.
Anyway, you may not need a ZR1.

I can relate. After owning 2 C4's I purchased a new 04 C5. Faster, smother, and more creature comforts. But you know what... After driving the C5 for two years I sold it and came back to a 95 C4. Everyone is different but for me the C4 is the most fun. It has a raw brutish feel that makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Don't get me wrong. The C5 was great but it just comes down to what is best for you. Congrats and enjoy your new ride!

My father has 2 C5s an auto and a stick, and I enjoy driving my C4 much more than the C5. The C5 is a very nice car, but I feel as if the C4 has more of a sports car feel, I can really connect with the road in my C4 more than his C5s.

This same loser has posted here under many other names. He's clearly a complete mental case. Get a life, pencil neck.

It's more of a greeting than you deserve, and nicer than I'would have given.

No one likes you....regardless or which of your many usernames you choose.

You might want to change such an immature user name if you want us to take you seriously here. Why would you think it's cool to keep it unless you're still in Junior High School? It will definitely give an impression of you to others here, and it won't be a positive one. We'll have to see if DinoBob and others have you figured out.

Looks like he deleted his post. Wonder what name he'll come up with next?
