I just put thin spokes on my '92 and I need to move the rear wheels out, they are not rubbing anywhere but I just don't like that they do not sit out to the edge of the wheel well like I want. I am planning on getting either 3/4 or 1 inch wheel adapters when I get to Carlisle this week. I am also going to try a front wheel on the back to see how that looks and if it fits the wheel well better I might try to find 2 more front rims at Carlisle. Don't know if this helped you any but I just wanted to share what my plan is.

What year car and what wheels do you have mounted? You asked for help but in this particular case the "picture ain't worth squat".

Are the 17" and 18" C5 OE/GM or replicas OR what?

please - no "sir"!

17's and 18's?

If they're 8.5 @ 58 for the fronts I'd buy 33mm for the front and if the rears are 9.5 @ 65 I'd do 27mm for the rears. That would place the wheel tire in nearly the exact same placement as the 9.5 @ 38 of the '85 Z51. That would be ideal I believe for appearance.

If you wanted to get close to those and the adapter/spacer is only offered in SAE dimensions buy 1 1/4" for the fronts and 1" for the rears. That's close enough. Be sure to buy adapter/spacers that are hub-centric to both the car and the C5 wheels. That's a 70.3mm wheel center bore.

Your C5 wheels should have the specifications cast into the rear of them - I'd check that and post back before buying anything to confirm.
