Default Carpet C4 replacement

Every day I drive my corvette is a great day. As I try to improve my C4 carpet I encounter issues. There are areas that there is glue that needs to be removed. Are there solvents that will remove this without damaging the underlying body structure. Any help is appreciated! Thanks

Removing old adhesive isn't easy. However, this BIG ORANGE (by Zep) was recommended to my by my autobody supply shop. I find it works as well as any WITHOUT danger of damaging plastic and can be washed off with soap and water.

It usually takes about 30 min or so at 70ºF or above - longer if temps are colder. And, a heat gun helps a lot too. Just be careful on plastic not to warp it with too much heat! I find the longer you let it soak, the glue gets softer and easier to remove with a stiff plastic scraper.
