If it's the radio part, should work, no problem.
If it's the CCM, no chance in hell. The CCM also stores mileage. Buying a new one, you get 100 miles to have the ODO set by a dealer. After 100 miles, the CCM locks and is unchangeable.

OP - the CDM from the '93 will work. It would be an unusual set of circumstances that it wouldn't but if you had concerns you could confirm an exact match from the label on the CDM. If you're buying a CDM from an "unknown" seller it would be wise to check that information because remote receivers were used by many GM's other than Corvettes. Have you had the "hands on" of the '93 CDM?
It's nearly always assumed that the discussion is regarding a Bose unit. Is it?
