Calling all cars! Calling all cars! Well, okay, not all cars. A choice, select few cars that I know are on this forum.

So, like a lot of corvette owners I suspect, I dream of having one of each generation. Somewhere in the depths of my soul I yearn to own a C1 through C7, simultaneously. Now when the reality of being an English teacher in Michigan sets into that fantasy, along with the fact that I lack a garage even remotely big enough to store such a collection, I realize that it is unlikely such a thing will occur. So I am shooting for a lesser goal, but a beautiful one nonetheless.

I'd like to hang a 2 foot by 5 foot poster print of each of the following cars... My dream versions of each generation. Like the few I already have.

And I'm asking this great forum to help me acquire the photos. Now to blow a picture up that big, it has to have been taken on at least a 16 meg camera - high resolution camera, or it will be very blurry at that size.

I'll post this request on each of the forums here and while I think other members will like to see the results I'm hoping you'll email the picture to me, as well. I know it's a big request. I also know that the generosity and expertise of this forum is unparalleled.

If you have one of these cars or a high res picture of one of these cars (preferably in profile) and would be generous enough to send it along, I'd really appreciate the opportunity to hang it's image in my garage.

Here is my email address: leighstroh@gmail.com

These are my generation to generation dream vettes:

C1a: 1953 White with red leather interior (of course) - top down
C1b: 1958 Black with white coves - hardtop on maybe shot from rear
C2a: 1967 coupe or vet marina blue, white stinger, white soft top up
C2b: 1967 vert silver with black interior top down
C3a: 1969 vert tuxedo black, black interior top down
C3b: 1970 coupe bridgehampton blue -- t-tops on
C4a: triple black vert any year
C4b: 1987 dark orange metallic coupe targa top off
C5a: 2000 silver convertible black interior top off
C5b: 2003 electron blue coupe light oak interior
C6a: 2010 Grandsport any color
C6b: Any year dark red metallic convertible tan interior tan top up
C7a: 2015 Z06 Convertible Silver.

Maybe I'll own some of these some day, but for now I'll be thankful for owning some really nice posters of them. Thank you all for the considerable time this request will take. I really appreciate it.--Stroh

That's a great idea. I hope you get all the images you're looking for.

Wow, Dark Orange Metallic is the rarest color in 87; I'd like to see one too.
