95 vette gearshift panel

Default 95 vette gearshift panel
has anyone attempted to remove rubber coating
from gearshift panel,radio panel ? It is sticky and annoying.
Would light sanding work ? Thanks

Yes sir that search function sure does work good. It just great for mining the wealth of knowledge that's been posted here over the years

I stripped mine down and sprayed with that plastic stuff you use on handles of tools, it's been a few years and still looks great
