C4 of the Year Finalist

new HD motor doesnt work

Can't believe it, just got a new headlight motor yesterday, put it in and it does not work! This is suppose to be a new unit and it looks like it. It just sits there and spins. I will let you all know what happens with the vendor and the motor. I will give them some time to get it right before I mention their name. [ update] My mistake, it opens but does not close, motor just spins.

He said the motor spins, so it DOES work. What doesn't work is the connection between the motor and the headlight. Something must not be meshed as it should be.

Must we argue semantics? I was joking.. anyway my point is kimmer is not asking for help.
