When I signal to the right, I have to move the lever in an odd way to get it to function. Signaling to the left is no problem. I had this same issue on my other C4. On my other C4, only the left turn signal lever worked. If I tried to signal to the right, it felt really loose. It's just a matter of time before my car does that to me. Has anyone else had that problem? What was your fix?

It sounds as if the wiper switch/dimmer and pivot is destroyed or possibly the metal part that connects it to the directional switch. It's also possible but unlikely that either the left or right cancelling spring has broken. Is this a '93 as your user ID hints? If NOT what year?
In this image the most likely failed part is #23 and the next likely is #11 which doesn't include a part number because it's NLA. I'd bet on the #23 wiper switch/pivot. There are reproductions on eBay of the 26015119 for normally $80 or less. You can search yourself.
If it's the metal actuator link it fits many GM/Saginaw columns so you should have no problems finding one. I may have one.
Sorry, this is on my '93. Yes, on my other 93 C4 I had it was the metal piece that goes on the signal lever. My dad helped me fix it on my other C4, but it was kind of a hack job. One that wouldn't last. Don't want to do that to the '93 I have now. When I signal to the right on my current C4, it's as if I'm turning on the high beams.
