If you want to get a pressure washer anywhere close to the front of the engine, the only way to protect your opti would be to remove it first. You could pressure wash everything else. Even if you wrap the opti with aluminum foil, or plastic bags, the pressure washer will rip it to shreds. Why are you dead set on the pressure washer? There are other ways to clean your engine that are just as effective, and a lot safer.

I use a pressure washer on mine when I first got it, but I knew the opti was going so it didnt matter. After the pressure cleaning it was toast. If I were you I would just use some simple green and rags and elbow grease. Its really not that bad once you get going. Once it is all clean, just a simple wipe down every now and then and it will stay clean.:)

Water combined with an Opti-Crap is a BAD idea. They hate water. Save yourself a big headache down the road, and don't go near your engine with any type of running water. :(
