Default Floor mat quality

I own a '93 with light gray carpet interior. I am considering purchasing a set of Lloyd Velourtex mats.

I want a quality made and well constructed mat that fits and looks good. I will have the 40th logo embroidered on them.

Has anyone purchased this model mat for their car and would you recommend them?

Thanks - Ozz

I got a set of the Lloyd ultimat floor mats for my 1993 40th.
I'm not sure about the velourtex, but I think the ultimat is more plush.
I think it might be worth the extra money. The ones I have fit great and look nice.

Good recommendation, thanks. Ultimat's sound like the way to go.

Beware: Lloyd Mats don't have the rubber pointers underneath the Mat. I sent mine back to Ecklers when the Mat would not stay still. Instead, I purchased factory mats - The Mats have grip. This was back in 2005 so maybe Lloyd's fixed this problem.

Lloyds makes about 5 different types of mats, of all different quality carpet and materials. Which did you purchase? The Ultimat has a non slip material on the bottom. My OEM drivers side mat has so many black nubs missing it keeps pushing up under the brake and gas pedals. Top of the mat is curled and annoying me.

Back in 2005 I ordered Lloyds Mats for my Father. The Mats had only a rubber backing, no grippers or pointers. Sent back to Ecklers. I purchased OGs and they had fit like a glove with rubber pointers. Did not move at all.

Dad was happy.

This was 9 years ago so maybe their Mats have changed for the better.
