Default headlight conversion

Hi guys, I have a 1984 C-4. I was wondering if anyone has played around with headlight conversions. Like deleting the flipping headlight motors. And getting fixed ones. Anyone out there been there and done that? How does it look and is it a good conversion? Where can I find some?

I'm not a fan of any "off the shelf" fixed headlight kits. I wish I still had the picture, but there was a custom "sugar scoop" style headlight (think Nissan 240ZG) conversion done before with glass? lenses that looked amazing.

A guy from the Netherlands mounted mid-90's Fiat Coupe' lights on his C4. Looked great!

Did he have to do any fabrication? Or did they mount right in?

Fabricated for sure. Even most bolt-ons don't bolt on.

I'm just generalizing. There are options for fixed lights that should be straight forward.

True. But I did read up on other threads on this topic and all come back the same. (It takes away from the 80s style which makes it unique). However, I did find pretty cool HID headlights and fog lights. Perhaps switching from halogen all around to HIDs and LEDs would be easier and make the car more appealing.

While I would not do it that is the best looking conversion I have seen on a C4. Nice job!
