So this vette seems a bit over priced, nonetheless I have been keeping track of the listing.. maybe make a move at the right time. So I was happy to see a price change on it.. but then I noticed an extra pic in the ad.. seems he has an admiral blue '94 too.. seem legit?
After reading the add, looks like he may be a dealer or someone selling more than one car and using the add to promote them. If your a buyer check things out and only make the buy in person after checking out the paper work and car.
I am happy to see that prices seem to be climbing on the up option low mileage cars. My car wasnt low mileage and I surely didnt buy it for an investment, I bought it to drive! I wish this guy luck in getting what he is asking but I bet he keeps it for a while. It will take a special buyer to pay the premium he is asking. Probly sell a lot quicker at about $15K.
I don't understand this response. There are plenty of older model cars that are worth more than their newer versions. If someone really wants the older model, most times they'll spend the higher price for it. It happens all the time. Mecum auctions show it happening daily.

I understood it clearly. For the amount of money being asked, it puts the buyer clearly in the ballpark of considering a much newer, more technologically advanced car.
FWIW, I think the price being asked is so high, I'll be surprised if it sells anywhere near it.
Only a salesmen would say it's really worth what's being asked.
Sorry, but I don't dwell on posts like the one you came up with. The guy put it up for sale here (big mistake) and then keeps coming back with ramblings about having to drop the price. I'd recommend a better venue where people would appreciate the car. Trying to get a high price on a C4 is impossible on this forum and it will never sell here. But that can in no way convince me C4's are a lesser car in the Corvette world. Maybe less valuable money wise, but certainly not less of a sports car.

I'm a C4 driver for 18 years. I like C4s. I just dont see a 96 with 67000 miles selling for $18k.
It is expensive, but you never know. Someone who feels it's the exact car they want sometimes shell out thousands of dollars more than they should according to the market for that car. I myself have spent way more than I should have for certain cars that I just had to have. I never had any regrets because it was totally my decision to go through with the deals. I don't concern myself with what others felt I should have paid. My money, my car.
