Its located near the passenger side firewall and right now I have a bolt in the hole of the manifold. Looks like a wire is snipped on top and I believe that there should be a tube from there to the manifold. Something with the emission system. It is almost directly under the distributor. Anyone know how to upload pictures to this form? I wanna know if its a secondary egr and if no such thing what could it be?

 

Need to know the year of your car. There should only be one EGR. Is your car a L98, it so then your probably looking at the oil sending units/sensors that almost under the distributor. This comes off the back of the block near the distributor with a two prong sensor facing one direction and a single prong sensor facing the other.

 

Its an 86 L98 could this be the egr temp switch cause it seems to have a wire cut on top. And i was thinking it was suppose to let the ecm know the car was at operating temp once the headers hit a certain degree
