I washed and waxed the car on Monday night and it has only been two places in the last two days, work and home (suburb and a vary nice town). Well anyways some one decided it would be funny to run a black magic marker down the passenger side of my car… I think it may have been someone from work… I e-mailed my boss with pictures telling him that if and when I find out who did this he will be out one employee … Man that’s just BS that someone will do that just for the hell of it… I did get it of with rubbing compound.




It rained on tuesday so it was dirty but I wanted to take the pictures before I tryed to clean it off... It's clean now

You know, I haven't been a Corvette owner very long, but I am scared to death of this kind of crap. I (and for that matter, anyone else) just can't afford to fix malicious vandalism like this. Not to mention it scars the car.

I have a young neighbor that just moved in, two doors down from me. He is a great kid just starting out, bought a new house and a new Pontiac TransAm. He's a young Chemical Engineer, so I guess he can afford these things at 25 yrs old.

Anyway he showed me where someone at work keyed the side of his new T/A. I think I was more flamed than he was. We work at the same place!!!

I have seen many similar marks on my wifes van, I figured out it was me! Everymorning coming out of the kitchen into the garage, my laptop bag(leather with rubber seams) would rub on the passenger door of the van. Probably someone walking between your car and theirs, spun around and the edge of the bag left that mark.

This is just the good side of me thinking no one would do such evil stuff to a vette!

Me and a friend of mine were cruising around in his 2002 35th anniversary Camaro SS and had a beer bottle thrown at us. Smashed the rear driver side brake light and mutilated the paint on the bumper and back of the car. There was alot of traffic so we never figured out who it was..

 

Yes I know how you feel my car was egged on the drivers door when I would out driving it at night I didn't even know. Till the next day when the cover came off and was all stuck to my car. nice egged shaped chips in the paint :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad
