I am thinking about buying Mapco MT 2500 but they come with so many different options. Does anyone know what cable and cartridges I need to work with 89 vette. Do I need power cord?

Thanks

Did you mean the snap on mt-2500? If so you'll need a power source cable, cigarette plug or battery connector. The correct gm obd1 connector(GM1). And the correct cartridges. Name: image-3777907041.jpg

Buy it! Trying to diagnose these cars without one can be an expensive road to travel.

Get the Snapon MT2500..I just got one off ebay for less the 200 bucks.. Most of the OBD1 units come with the right year model GM stuff for you.. They used to be very pricey.. Now the newer cars (95-96 and later) use OBD2 scannners.. Our Gain!!
