Cheerio 'ol boy, I must say that was mighty sporting of you to let the bloke in the VW get into that parking space.
Here in the states it seems that most bloody buggers would sooner crawl up your tailpipe and force you to move on then sit back and let you get safely into a space.
It's just a shame you couldn't get into that throttle a bit..... though I did love the old-world architecture as you drove round.
My wife and I spent a week in the Costwalds last year and my one of my favorite parts of the trip was driving on the "B" roads, even though it was only in a diesel Ford. At least it was a stick ! I even met a few fellow Vette owners at a car show, it is amazing what you guys have to go through to drive an American icon across the pond. I only saw one alpha hotel on the roads in almost 1,000 miles of driving. I wish people here could drive even 1/10 as well as our friends in Europe. Enjoy your car, maybe a road trip to Germany is in order ?

Being an old biker I think I was more concerned about letting the bike through safely!

Hi Ricasso, I'm down in Devon with a '93 convertible. Yours sounds great. My nearest US specialist (near Honiton) is going to make me rear muffler eliminators when I can spare the time to take it to him. I hope it sounds as good as yours. I'd hate it to sound like one of those bloody big-bored Subarus!!
