1991 vert. Can anyone offer any spiritual insight as to the correct size screws to use to attach the center console LID to the metal hinge that attaches to the actual console.
There are three screw holes to accomplish the mechanical connection.
I have a collect of about a 50 different sizes and I can't find three to fit! My FSM and parts books don't even list or show the armrest lid.
i tried to post some pics, but there seems to be a problem with photobucket. anyway, I pulled one from my 90 coupe console - I'd be willing to bet it's the same as your 91 vert. the screw is a #8 (.164 diameter) trim screw, approximately .5" length, oval head, phillips. I'm not up on trim screw nomenclature, but it has a smaller #6, undersized head (approximately .278 diameter) - it might be stated as an 82 degree trim head - ??? hope this helps -
