Hood Release Problems
I have a 1990 Corvette Coupe. The passenger side release has failed to open. I have checked all videos and nothing deals with the passenger side. I have tried the methods used on the driver side but there is no access. Now have all inner fender panels off but still can't find the release mechanism. At a lose now how to proceed. GM dealership had no ideas or interest to help.

should have installed emergency release cables. Search threads on that topic for pics of the latch area to help you get it opened up.But first, have someone push down/ pull up on the passenger side corner of the hood while you pull the release lever. It may just be out of adjustment.

This video shows how it's done on the driver's side:
Passenger's side is basically a mirror image of the driver's side, so it'll work the opposite direction.
You can either make your own tool, or buy one from the various vendors that sell them (google it for options).
