6'3 had to use the glass top on the 89 and head/knee room was tight std seats
With the ZR1 I fit better think the foam in the bottom was more collapsed but could use the hartop. Still took the sunvisor off. Had it had std not sport seats think it would have been more bearable on long trips
just wish I'd remember that the darn visor is as close as it is - - -
EVER time I need to get my hat off the dash I smack that dang linkage! "Ouch, that's gonna leave a mark..."

I'm 6-4, 200 lbs. My 90 coupe has the sport bucket seats. I even added a head liner to my Targa top and still have enough head room. Not a lot, but my head does not touch the liner.
Damn, 6'3" and you can fit? I'm 5'11" and I only have at most 2" between my head and the top of my '92 LT1.
My thoughts exactly. I'm 5'10" and it's a tight fit in my 92. My sisters boyfriend is 6'1" and he just barely fits with the seat all the way back. He really wanted a C4 till he sat in mine.
I'm about 6'2", and I have no problem. My 93 seats are worn out. As I am still learning about the C4 I cant tell you what year the targa is from, but I do know it was replaced or repaired at some time. It is not the same color of red as the rest of the car.
i'm 6-4, 195lbs (probably more flexable than most 50 yr olds), but i've fit fine in the '93 and '96 vettes i've test drove. i'm sort of used to a bit of bending my legs for most cars i've driven.
back when i was looking for C3s, i tested a '78 and a couple of '82s and they seemed a bit more cramped for me....the '78 had racing seats which the owner said are a bit more firm then the standard and i sat higher, hence a hair less headroom....but it was still doable...
now the car i never fit in was an early 90s mazda miata! could not drive that car nor fit in it!
now i will say that the '85 vette i tested a week ago-those seats i fit in them great, seemed like plenty of room in them!!!! and i actually thought they were more comfy that the 93 and 96 seats to me!!!

One of my friends is 6'2 and probably 240lbs, he drives a miata. I still don't know how he stuffs his big *** in that car. Again, I'm 5'10"/185lbs and I feel cramped in a miata.
it should be noted that when I read the book "corvette from the inside" the author, Dave McLellan (former corvette head engineer) stated that he was 6' tall, so the C4 was sort of engineered from the standpoint of someone who was taller than ave.
6'2, 185 pounds. No problems in my C4 except the seats are too big (admittedly, my air bolsters don't work). Will replace with Corbeau A4s at some point.
IMO, that was his cop out reason. He didn't want to buy your car. Maybe he wanted it cheaper, maybe he didn't like something about it, maybe he realized he didn't want a Corvette. But it was an easy out, pure and simple.
The cockpit feel is not for everybody, perhaps he didn't like how hard it is to get in and out.

John Delorean was something like 6'4", so his car was very accommodating to tall people. It's good to have a tall engineer running the show.
