95 LT1, auto, 140 k. Developed a dead miss at idle, traced it to #7 cyl, ohmed out the injectors and #7 was high (110) while the rest were 12 or so. I know that the right thing to do is replace all the injectors, but that would be an expensive proposition. The car does not get driven much, and may be sold soon anyway. Would it be the worst thing in the world to just replace just the one bad injector ? Are the others getting close to their life expectancy ? Thanks for any input.
Well, I just bought Bosch 3 injectors. Was going to buy them new, but Jon&fuel injector connection said to buy rebuilt ones. 3 year warranty. I paid $200. Some of mine are leaking. In my opinion, that's a reasonable price.

Did you have to reflash the PCM ? I just checked their website and they mentioned that you may have to.
I ordered rebuilt Bosch III's earlier this year from the forum vendor FIC, but haven't installed them yet (along with a new fuel regulator).
The ones I received weren't orange, but blue? Makes me wonder if I have the right set.
Please post what color yours are, when you receive them.
Yeah, the ones I bought are blue. What year is your car? Injectors and fuel pressure regulator are really easy to change. Oh, haven't received them yet Pretty sure they will be blue as well.

'96. Ok, then I guess I did get the right set after all. For some reason, all of the photos I've seen of the Bosch III's showed them as orange.
I plan to install mine this coming weekend, now that I've finished the water pump, opti, wires, coil, control module, and plugs. That job took me longer than I thought, and ran out of time before I could get to the injectors and regulator! Agreed, it should be a much quicker R&R than the last job...
