That's me. The 23rd from the bottom corner of the "E".
Anybody want to guess the horsepower displayed in this picture? Don't forget the catapults: Zero to 140 mph in 2 1/2 seconds! Looking for good brakes? Grab a cable during landing at 140 mph, and you stop in less than 100 ft., and that landing is at full throttle (in case you miss a cable)!

Don't know how many of you veterans use USAA for your auto insurance, but if you don't, I recommend you look into it.
They lied, repeatedly to me, after screwing up my Corvette with their 'preferred' shop, then refused to honor their lifetime warranty when the repairs went south. I could elaborate more about their lack of character and honor, but...
Suffice it to say, I cancelled 7 policies after 40+ years with USAA. Good riddance and it explains why they need to advertise now.
If only people would talk to each other more . . . . .
"the POWER of word of mouth ! ! !"
advertising doesn't even come close.

USS Chicago, CG-11 from '63 to '65. Guided Missile Cruiser. Home port San Diego.
Never made it to Viet Nam as I was on a new ship going through shakedown. Data Systems Technician on the then new Naval Tactical Data System.
Got out a few months early as I had been accepted at the U of MN. Shortly after I got out the ship's crew got extended due to increasing hostilities in Viet Nam.
"Private Malone"...Great Video! There was a guy in flight school (Ft. Wolters, TX) who bought a red '66, big block convertible. Can't remember his name... don't know if he made it home.
I just found out from another Flight School classmate that his name was Hap Brose and he was... killed in action in Vietnam.
"Private Malone" could be renamed, "Warrant Officer Hap Brose."
