Default ISO New Wheels for My C4

Does anyone know of a website that would list all of the aftermarket wheels available for C4s? I'm trying to avoid looking at the thousands of websites that pop up when you search for "C4 Wheels" or anything similar. Also, I've heard that certain wheels originally designed for C5 and C6 cars can also be used on C4s without the need for any modifications. Is that true and, if so, who sells those wheels?

Thanks ....... WS

C5 wheels will bolt right up, and fit nice. C6 wheels have different offsets. The popular C4 wheels are, a-molds, CCW, Fikse, Dymag, BBS, and aftermarket Vette wheels. IMO, it's hard to beat the Fikse.

C5 wheels fit nice if your car is an '88-'96

There is no "all encompassing" but you might mention the year of your C4 and if there's a "funding issue", are you wanting 17", 18" OR what, staggered tires front rear. If you mention that information choices become maybe less of an issue.

Mention those pieces of information and I'm sure there's help available.

My car is Torch Red with white seats and door panels. Do you guys think a black wheel would work or should I stick with chrome/polished/alloy?

Go to some of the aftermarket wheel makers, like HRE, Forgeline, etc.

They can help you. Bring cash.

You're correct there are lots of choises. What's the budget? That will narrow the selection. HRE, Forgeline, Fikse, CCW are well made, strong, and light but come with a high price tag. It won't be hard to spend 3K - 4K for just wheels. Then there's still tires to buy. C5 "take off" wheels you can find for far less money. That's why deciding on what you want to spend is important in your search.

For the wheels (no tires), I'd like to stay between $2000 to $2500.

Color all depends on your preference. Polished or black would look good. I stay away from chrome on my cars, too shiny and dont last as long if your in snow country.

Chrome on inexpensive wheels look cheap and cheesy!...I like the look of raw spun aluminum or silver painted wheels which look more aggressive!...

CCW is popular and has done several c4s. Fikse, Iforged, HRE... Rennen, DP wheels, 360 forged, ADV1... the list goes on. They all have beautiful styles that suit the c4. Stick with the same rim front and back. Personally the staggered look was designed into the c5/6/7 that have ginormous *** ends. Putting a +1 rim on the rear of a c4 is downright ugly.

Id recommend 18s or 19s . I prefer 19s with a small tire but if you don't like steering response or plan to lower the car or a stiff ride 18s might be better. 17s are balloons that belong in the 90s.
