Random question, my car just died on me, and now won't turn over. Battery works and the starter is going but it won't turn over.
Earlier today I drove through a massive puddle/flooded road, didn't see it till it was too late. Now I got 100 feet from my office my car sputtered out, the revs started dropping and then died and now won't turn over
93 couple, lt1, and I just had a new opti spark put in and had it all checked out...but am worried I just flooded the new opti...
Waiting for a flatbed right now so any thoughts would be great!!
Damn, I hope that's not the case. Let the car sit for a while, see if it will start. Lame advice, I know. That's what I would do, see if the opti dries.

Well thanks for the optimism at least!
I dropped it at the dealer, I have a good relationship with the service guy who knows c4s so I'll call him in the morning and see if a mechanic can dry it out or at least tell me for sure what's wrong...
Do you know if it can dry? My old one had rusted...but I think this one was supposed to be the vented improved opti...I hope
If you upgraded to a vented system, it might dry. I doubt an unvented opti will dry if it was a serious puddle. Hopefully it's something else(coil, ICM?). Opti isn't as hard to replace as others make it sound, if that's the culprit.
